This month, we sponsored Lancashire Mind at their Roadshow event during Mental Health Awareness Week. Three of our dedicated employees were selected to judge prestigious industry awards around the country. We supported the students at Blackburn College with a live case study project, enabling them to develop a range of important skills. We have been presented with the Organic Soil Association award, allowing us to maintain our organic supply chain. Many team members also had the pleasure of attending insightful events around the country, highlighting our commitment to staying ahead of industry developments. We look forward to sharing more updates in June!

Honouring Excellence at Granby
We started the month off by honouring excellence at Granby, as three of our dedicated employees were selected to judge at leading industry awards around the country. Owen Harris was asked to judge at the AIA Awards, Charlotte Booth judged for the Apprentice Team of the Year Award at the BIBAs and Victoria Pittman judged for the prestigious UKWA Awards for Excellence. At Granby, we are dedicated to leading, learning and embracing excellence within our sector, and we are always looking for ways to achieve this.
Mental Health Awareness Week 2025
The 12th – 18th May marked Mental Health Awareness Week, and we are proud to have sponsored Lancashire Mind at their roadshow event, which also highlights 25 years of the charity. Our sponsorship enabled them to travel around the county, visiting schools and community spaces to share well-being tips with people of all ages.
On Wednesday, the 14th of May, Lancashire Mind headed over to our Granby site to share mental health resources with our team. This partnership allowed us to raise awareness around mental health and reinforce our commitment to employee well-being.
