Granby’s Social Value report 2023

Social Value

Granby’s Social Value report 2023: Our data for the impact we’ve made in 2023 is in! We have been developing our Social Value policies and how we measure them for the past four years – and we’ll be updating and publishing our results annually. Social Value is an important topic for us:

Social Value themes – the definitions

  1. COVID-19 recovery – to help local communities manage and recover from the impact of Covid-19.
  2. Tackling economic inequality – to increase supply chain resilience and capacity, and create new jobs and skills.
  3. Information Security – to mitigate and manage cyber security risks to the market, industry, sector and country (a sub-section of ‘Tackling economic inequality’).
  4. Fighting climate change – effective stewardship of the environment.
  5. Equal opportunities – to reduce the disability employment gap and tackle workplace inequality by helping people.
  6. Wellbeing – to improve health and wellbeing, and community integration.

As a member of public sector procurement frameworks like CCS and KCS, Social Value is something we take seriously.
