Granby’s Social Value report 2022
Our data for the impact we’ve made in 2022 is in! We’ve been developing our Social Value policies and how we measure them for the past three years – and we’ll be updating and publishing our results annually.
Social Value is an important topic for us:
- We’re a member of public sector procurement frameworks like KCS, for a range of 3PL services including fulfilment, kitting, reverse logistics and asset tracking.
- We’re an employee owned business – Social Value, Net Zero, corporate social responsibility and sustainability are baked into our approach.
Social Value themes – the definitions
- COVID-19 recovery – to help local communities manage and recover from the impact of Covid-19.
- Tackling economic inequality – to increase supply chain resilience and capacity, and create new jobs and skills.
- Fighting climate change – effective stewardship of the environment.
- Equal opportunities – to reduce the disability employment gap and tackle workplace inequality by helping people.
- Wellbeing – to improve health and wellbeing, and community integration.
- Information Security – to mitigate and manage cyber security risks to the market, industry, sector and country (a sub-section of ‘Tackling economic inequality’).
As a member of public sector procurement frameworks like KCS, Social Value is something we take seriously.
