Dangerous Goods Classes
We are permitted to handle the logistics for 4 out of the 9 classes of Dangerous Goods. The classes are recognised internationally and show how goods must be stored, packaged and transported.

Granby and Dangerous Goods
From the 9 classes of dangerous goods, Granby is able to consider warehousing and logistics for the following classes and class sub-divisions.
Class 2 – Gases
This class includes:
- Flammable gases (like butane)
- Non-flammable and non-toxic gases that can cause asphyxiation (like nitrogen, helium, carbon dioxide) and oxidisers (like oxygen)
- Toxic gases (like chlorine, phosgene)
Class 3 – Flammable Liquids
This class includes liquids or mixtures of liquids that:
- Emit flammable vapours at specific temperatures
- Have a flash point of not more than 60.5℃ or 140.9 ℉ (like lighter fluid, petrol)
Class 4 – Flammable Solids
This class includes:
- Self-reactive substances and solid desensitised explosives
- Substances liable to spontaneous combustion
- Substances which, in contact with water, emit flammable gases
Class 9 – Dangerous Substances & Articles
This class is a catch-all. It covers products and substances which can pose a risk during transport (like some medicines, solid dry ice, asbestos, life rafts, power tools, and adhesive glue).
