Award-winning marketing agency, Granby Marketing comes on board the BYZ Network.
We’re really excited to announce that we are patrons at Blackburn Youth Zone!
Blackburn Youth Zone is located in the centre of Blackburn. It exists to create a positive future for young people of Blackburn with Darwen, promoting cohesion, skills and aspirations, and health and wellbeing. They have a growing membership of almost 3,000 young people aged 5-19 (up to 25 with disabilities) and receive up to 900 visits each week.
Support from local businesses and individuals is crucial to the ongoing success of Blackburn Youth Zone. In order to provide the support that young people deserve, Blackburn Youth Zone needs to raise a minimum of £1.2 million every year – 75% of this comes from fundraising, including support from local businesses.
Hannah Allen, Chief Executive of Blackburn Youth Zone said:
“We are proud to welcome Granby Marketing to the Blackburn Youth Zone network, we are honored to receive the support of Jo and the team, they’re a fantastic Lancashire business. We are looking forward to developing our partnership which will bring new opportunities for our members. With Granby’s help we are dedicated to helping young people in our community and without the support from local businesses we would not be able to make such a big difference.”
Jo Kimber from Granby said:
“We are honoured to be supporting the number one hub for Blackburn’s brewing talent. We believe that our community is only as strong as the people who are growing up in it which is why we place such heavy emphasis on empowering the youth.
Granby has already taken on many young apprentices because we believe in the talent and innovation that the next generation has to offer, and we love to give back to our community. We have a set of core values which we at Granby work by: Honesty, Integrity, Trust, Unity and Innovation. These values are mirrored by Blackburn Youth Zone which meant that becoming a patron was essential for us.”
